The inspiration for Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution, Ecuador's Galapagos Islands are home to some of the most rare, and unique species on earth.

On February 24th 2022, war returned to the European continent with Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. In the months since, Ukrainian's across the globe have rallied and continue to call for more international military aid as the Russian occupation continues.

At the top end of Australia's Northern Territory, live the Bininj. A culture of "caring for country" has ensured their survival in these inhospitable lands through more than 50,000 years, and their rock art is evidence of the traditions and language which has been passed down through generations.

In March of 2020, as the Covid-19 Pandemic took hold and began reshaping daily life, I set out to capture the changes in my hometown of North Vancouver.

Oman is a Sultanate on the Arabian Peninsula. Despite bordering the UAE, Yemen and Saudi Arabia, Oman is incredibly peaceful and prosperous. Thanks mostly to their strong cultural identity, but largely in part to Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who led the State through a different style of leadership in a critical time.

On the top end of Vancouver Island, live the Kwaguʼł. Their ancestors have lived in harmony with these lands since time immemorial, and the guidance of the big house, and adherence to the sacred laws, have ensured their survival for millennia. Hereditary Chief David Mungo Knox, is working to pass along these fundamental teachings to the next generation.

On November 1st 2020, Italy re-imposed it's 6pm curfew on all non-essential services as Europe entered it's second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. At the time, I was one of the few tourists who remained in the country, giving me a once in a lifetime opportunity to capture the city of Venice, deserted.
